Mandated Registrar, Kadaster BES & Product Manager

H.R.G. (Hamilton) Boelijn, LLM (born 1978) is the mandated Registrar of Kadaster BES and a product manager. Kadaster is an independent administrative body responsible for the Land Registry and Public Registers in the Netherlands, and for the land registries on the BES islands since 2021. Hamilton studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam. He joined Cadastre Netherlands in 2001. During his employment, he has held various operational and managerial positions within the organization. He also played a role in the complete renewal of the Land Registry, which was completed in 2018. This involved verifying whether the IT functionalities developed after the go-live met the applicable policies and legislation. Currently, in addition to his daily tasks as mandated Registrar BES, he is working on improving the quality of the cadastral data of Bonaire, St. Eustatius, and Saba, and on translating legislation into the required functionalities for the registration systems of the three cadastral registries on the BES islands.
